Virtual Training: Screening and Assessment Tools: Best Practices for RHY Programs July 9, 2025 from 1:00-2:30 PM ET

Screening and Assessment Tools:
Best Practices for RHY Programs

The Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB), Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) Program, and the Runaway and Homeless Youth Training, Technical Assistance, and Capacity Building Center (RHYTTAC) invite you to join us for a virtual training on July 9, 2025, from 1:00-2:30 PM ET to explore Screening and Assessment Tools: Best Practices for RHY Programs. Screening and assessment are core components of the RHY program and are necessary to determine eligibility for services and identify the risk for housing instability of youth and young adults (YYA).

Registration is now closed!

RHY Program grantee recipients are required to develop a plan to implement standardized methods to assess eligibility and the services required to meet the immediate needs of the youth and young adults they serve. This plan should include a specific assessment process, including screening tools to identify the unique needs of youth experiencing homelessness, to guide identification, assistance, and referral(s) for delivery of appropriate services.
