Runaway and Homeless Youth Program Specific Training Series

The goal of the Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) Program Specific Training Series is to provide an opportunity to dive deeper into program specific requirements for each of Family and Youth Services Bureau’s four program areas:

  • Transitional Living Program (TLP)
  • Maternity Group Home (MGH)
  • Street Outreach Program (SOP)
  • Basic Center Program (BCP)

These training sessions will provide an overview of key program elements, highlight best practices, and identify where to find additional information and resources to support effective implementation of your program. Grantees are required to send at least one representative for each grant program (e.g. BCP, TLP, MGH, and SOP). These trainings are not open to the public.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand and discuss key program specific requirements for each RHY program
  • Learn strategies to improve and enhance outcomes of their RHY grant(s)
  • Learn strategies for effectively serving the youth in your programs
  • Develop and strengthen partnerships with colleagues in the RHY field
