How RHYTTAC Uses Data 

RHYTTAC uses event evaluation data to continuously enhance training and technical assistance for RHY grantees and youth-serving organizations. By directly gathering feedback from grantees, we gain valuable insights into what’s working and where improvements are needed. This allows us to tailor our services to better meet the specific challenges grantees face, ultimately helping them better serve their communities and youth. The goal is to ensure our resources remain relevant, practical, and responsive to the needs of the field.

About Our Partners at Chapin Hall 

Chapin Hall is a leading social policy research institute, combining rigorous research to generate evidence and support the implementation of practices in the field. Chapin Hall provides national leadership on what works to prevent and end youth homelessness. Chapin Hall leads the evaluation of the training and technical assistance events that RHYTTAC delivers to RHY grantees.  

National Needs Assessment  

The goal of the annual National Needs Assessment is to identify training needs for Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) grantee organizations in a variety of areas and to assess the utilization and experiences with existing Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) provided by RHYTTAC.

FYSB will use the results of the assessment to identify priorities for TTA for the following year and how to continue to support grantee organizations in improving outcomes for youth. The assessment also helps ensure that RHYTTAC’s services best meet the needs of grantee organizations, leading to new and adapted TTA resources available to RHY grantee organizations in the future.

National Training Reporting  

The RHY National Grantee Training is an annual event featuring training opportunities, networking, and workshops for FYSB funded RHY grantees and members of the youth services field including youth and young adults.
