Family Interventions Utilized by RHY Programs

In 2016, RHYTTAC put together a list of practices, frameworks, and interventions commonly utilized by RHY funded programs across the country. This resource provides a general overview and content from the practices' website along with links for further information. RHYTTAC encourages grantees to explore these interventions to see if they will be a good fit for their specific programs and populations served. RHYTTAC does not endorse these practices, approaches, and interventions; however, they all have evidence and research to support their effectiveness with certain populations and in certain settings.

Family Engagement Inventory

The Family & Youth Services Bureau encourages you to check out the Family Engagement Inventory, recently launched by the Children’s Bureau’s Child Welfare Information Gateway. The Family Engagement Inventory (FEI) is an interactive web-based tool designed to familiarize professionals in child welfare, juvenile justice, behavioral health, education, and early childhood education with family engagement as defined and implemented across these fields of practice. Family engagement is recognized as a foundation for success across the human services and education fields. How each field discuss and implement family engagement interventions are often quite different. This web-based tool helps bridge those differences and provides the latest resources and strategies for those who work directly with families, manage programs, and lead systems.
