Transformational Relationships for Youth Success

The Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP) released findings of a study conducted in partnership with the Dartington Social Research Unit, examining "relationships powerful enough to help youth being to think, feel and act differently."  Investigators interviewed young people and youth workers, looking beyond building rapport as an engagement strategy and discovering that relationships themselves can be a primary driver of change.

Their findings reveal how transformational relationships work, characteristics of workers who are good at establishing them, and how organizations can successfully promote them.  This resource offers practical guidance for workers, programs and agencies who serve young people.
