TA Café: Understanding Systems of Power and Privilege to Disrupt Inequity In Supporting Youth

Building on the recent virtual training “Understanding Systems of Power and Privilege to Disrupt Inequity in Supporting Youth”, this TA Café will provide space for Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) grantees to share examples and collaborate on their own diversity programs, and inspiring practices for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).   

 As we continue to discuss the role power plays in inequitable systems and the grounding concepts that pave the way for more inclusive spaces, participants will have the opportunity to share examples and ideas surrounding the topic of DEI as they relate to racial equity. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in peer-to-peer learning, facilitated discussion, and interactive coaching.

Attendance is capped at 50 grantee participants for this TA Café and is full. 

In this TA Café, participants will:  

• Review emerging approaches from the field to address challenges in diversity, equity, and inclusion.​ 
• Share examples and resources with peers to develop new strategies.​ 
• Create an action plan for organizational implementation.
