2022 Runaway and Homeless Youth National Grantee Training

The Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) and the Runaway and Homeless Youth Training and Technical Assistance Center (RHYTTAC) are pleased to announce the dates for the 2022 Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) National Grantee Training.

The 2022 RHY National Grantee Training will be held virtually allowing flexibility and accessibility for both attendees and presenters alike. This year's event will be held virtually from November 15 - 17, 2022 between 12 PM - 6 PM ET with a Welcome Reception on November 14, 2022 from 12 - 1 PM ET. The RHY National Grantee Training is a no-cost event for all participants, including FYSB RHY Grantees, youth-serving organizations, and youth and young adults.

This year’s theme is Resilience: The Power of Youth, Community, and Connections.

Through the RHY Program, FYSB supports street outreach, emergency shelters and longer-term transitional living and maternity group home programs to serve young people experiencing runaway or homeless situations. We anticipate over 1,200 attendees seeking to improve their approaches to program implementation, strengthen community partnerships, connect with federal staff, and network with other grantees. This event provides an opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, and innovation to pursue the common goal of providing effective, culturally responsive and trauma informed services to youth and young adults experiencing homelessness.
