Understanding the FAFSA® Form to Support Homeless Youth and Other Vulnerable PopulationsRepresentatives from the U.S Department of Education will provide a free training for grantees, counselors, and agency professionals to provide insight into the federal financial aid process and filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA® form). Attendees will learn best practices about the application along with tools and resources to assist unaccompanied, homeless, and foster youth as they prepare for college. There will also be an interactive chat to share best practices and discuss barriers along with a demo to share what to expect when filling out the form.
