Welcome to RHYTTAC

The Runaway and Homeless Youth Training and Technical Assistance Center (RHYTTAC) is the training and technical assistance provider for all federally-funded runaway and homeless youth (RHY) grantees. RHYTTAC assists these organizations in developing and implementing effective approaches to serving young people who have run away and/or are impacted by homelessness, accessing new resources, and establishing linkages with other programs with similar interests and concerns. RHYTTAC:

  • Provides direct capacity building support for programs and communities in the form of technical assistance, training, and online communities;
  • Develops tools and resources, and manages multiple communication channels for dissemination of those resources; and,
  • Leads a coordinated strategy across federal departments and other national grantees.

 Save the Dates: 2021 RHY National Grantee Training

The Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) and the Runaway and Homeless Youth Training and Technical Assistance Center (RHYTTAC) are pleased to announce the 2021 Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) National Grantee Training will be held virtually from November 15th through November 18th. Registration and more details for the 2021 National Training will be provided as they become available.

Resources and Guidance in Addressing COVID-19

Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) grantees are encouraged to work closely with state and local public health authorities on issues related to addressing Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in their organization and community. Click here to access information and resources for RHY programs.

COVID-19 Webinar Series

The Runaway and Homeless Youth Training and Technical Assistance Center (RHYTTAC) will kick off a new COVID-19 Webinar Series on May 17th, 2021. As you know, COVID-19 has dramatically altered the lives of everyone especially youth experiencing homelessness and the service landscape. This webinar series will build greater understanding about the full impacts of the pandemic on Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) grantees and the youth they serve and support programs in addressing these impacts.
