Welcome to RHYTTAC

The Runaway and Homeless Youth Training and Technical Assistance Center (RHYTTAC) is the training and technical assistance provider for all federally-funded runaway and homeless youth (RHY) grantees. RHYTTAC assists these organizations in developing and implementing effective approaches to serving young people who have run away and/or are impacted by homelessness, accessing new resources, and establishing linkages with other programs with similar interests and concerns. RHYTTAC:

  • Provides direct capacity building support for programs and communities in the form of technical assistance, training, and online communities;
  • Develops tools and resources, and manages multiple communication channels for dissemination of those resources; and,
  • Leads a coordinated strategy across federal departments and other national grantees.

2023 RHY National Grantee Training

2023 Runaway and Homeless Youth National Grantee Training

The Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB), Division of Runaway and Homeless Youth, and the and Runaway and Homeless Youth Training and Technical Assistance Center (RHYTTAC) are pleased to invite current FYSB Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) Grantees to the 2023 Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) National Grantee Training. 

The 2023 RHY National Grantee Training will take place in-person at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, WA from November 29 – December 1, 2023 with a few select Pre-training Institutes on November 28, 2023. The deadline to register was Friday, November 3, 2023.

New Resource: Supporting and Affirming LGBTQIA2S+ Youth and Young Adults

As Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) programs, organizations, and their communities seek effective practices for supporting, affirming, and improving outcomes for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, queer, intersex, asexual, and two spirit, as well as non-binary and gender expansive (LGBTQIA2S+) youth and young adults, the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB), Division of Runaway and Homeless Youth, and the Runaway and Homeless Youth Training and Technical Assistance Center (RHYTTAC) are excited to share a new tip sheet.
