2023 RHY National Grantee Training
Youth and Young Adults Invited to Contribute!

Hello, Young Leaders (Change Makers)! The 2023 Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) National Grantee Training’s theme, Together: Equity, Creativity, & Youth Leadership highlights the importance of creating spaces for young people to be engaged in developing positive and affirming social connections with peers and adults. The 3-day in-person training event is happening on November 29 - December 1, 2023, at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle's Eastside. This national training offers an important opportunity for youth and young adult voice and representation to be highlighted. Attendees will celebrate the contributions and influence of young leaders in bringing awareness and creating solutions to end youth homelessness. Below are the ways that youth and young adult leaders can take part in this year’s event, both in-person and virtually!

Spark Sessions

These 5-minute video presentations will center on the creative and innovative vision of youth and young adults with lived expertise, allies, and difference-makers. When was the last time you heard or read something so interesting, thought-provoking, or challenging that you just had to share it with someone and talk about it together? Moving beyond slide decks and talking points, Spark Sessions and their creative video delivery will inspire new thinking, reflection, and conversation.
